Let's go through the steps of creating a Request a Document Nivo Bot. An example of using this bot would be for when you need to request a document needed for processing a loan. To get started please follow the steps below. Along the way I'll be explaining why we do certain steps during the journey.
Step 1 - Please select on the top right hand corner of your interface to access your various Nivobots then you'll need to select to create a bot.
Step 2 - Once you do this the screen below will appear. This is the interface you'll be using when creating different Nivo bots.
Step 3 - Now let's select on the box that says 'New Nivo Bot' to rename the bot to "2.0 Request a Document Starter Bot".
Step 4 - Now, let's edit our positioning message which will help phrase our message to something relevant to our journey of requesting a document. Under the 'Text' box to please change the details in the box to "Hi {{name}}, welcome to {{institution}}. Please send in a bank statement dated in the last 3 months so we can start to process your loan".
Step 5 - Now that we've set our positioning message, lets add the main step which is to request a document. You can do this by clicking on the 'Add Step' button. Then select on 'Send a message' under 'type' and change it from 'Send a Message' to 'Request Documents'
Step 6 - Now that we've just created the 'Request documents' step, we'll choose the type of document we want. (Note: There's a pre-loaded set of documents already in the list which are the most frequently requested documents, select other if you would like another type of document) For the case of this journey we'll be needed a Bank statement. Under 'Document Type' you'll be able to select the type of document you want to request, now please select 'Bank Statements'.
Step 7 - Now you'll want create a description for the type of document you want to request. To add a description, under 'description' type in 'Bank Statement'.
Step 8 - Now, we'll add a new step which is to 'Send a message' where we'll put a follow-up message which will automatically send a message once the customer sends in their Bank statement. Let's now put under the 'Text' box 'Thanks! We'll be in touch within 24 working hours ๐'.
Step 9 - Now we'll be adding another step called 'Internal only Message' which sends an internal message (that cannot be seen by the customer but can be seen by all agents). We added this step, to create a notification when the customer has sent in their Bank statement. Let's name this 'Bank Statement Received'
Step 10 - Hope you're still there. Now we're down to our last and final step ๐which will be to move the customer to a new folder which helps identity which stage along the process he is currently at. To do this let's add a new step called 'Move Folder' then you'll want to select under 'Folder' to move it to the folder called '2.0 Bank Statements'. Congrats, now we're done and you can save&close the bot.
